Phuket → Koh Phi Phi Ferry
The fastest way from Phuket to the Andaman's most famous island. Up to 14 daily departures from Rassada Pier, modern speedboats, instant online booking.
About This Route
The Phuket to Koh Phi Phi fast boat is the most popular Andaman crossing in southern Thailand, linking Phuket with the limestone cliffs, turquoise bays, and buzzing village of Phi Phi Don. Boats depart from Rassada Pier, Phuket's main ferry terminal, and arrive at Tonsai Pier — right in the heart of Phi Phi's village — in around one hour.
Rassada Pier sits about 15 minutes from Phuket Town and 45–60 minutes from Patong, Kata, and Karon by taxi or songthaew, so plan your transfer with plenty of buffer. Check-in closes roughly 30–45 minutes before departure, and the pier has ticket offices, cafés, and luggage storage. On board you can expect an air-conditioned cabin, life jackets, and a smooth ride in the calm season — with the option on some boats to pause for a snorkel stop en route.
Ferries run year-round, with up to 14 sailings a day in high season (November–April) when the sea is at its calmest. Tickets from $17 USD one-way include your luggage allowance, and e-tickets are delivered instantly — just show your phone at check-in. We recommend booking a few days ahead in December–January, when boats regularly sell out.
Schedule & Prices
⚠️ Schedules may change during bad weather, and crossings can be cancelled in rough seas (usually May–October). All prices are per person one-way in USD. Free rescheduling up to 48 h before departure.
