Krabi → Koh Phi Phi Ferry
The fastest way from the Krabi mainland to the Andaman's most famous island. Frequent daily departures, modern speedboats, instant online booking.
About This Route
The Krabi to Koh Phi Phi ferry is one of the busiest island connections in the Andaman Sea, linking the Krabi mainland with the limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons and buzzing beaches of Phi Phi Don. The crossing takes just 45 minutes, with frequent departures every day of the year — making Koh Phi Phi an easy day trip or a seamless stop on a longer Thailand island-hopping itinerary.
Boats leave from two piers: Klong Jilad Pier (Khlong Chilat) in Krabi Town is the main departure point with the most daily sailings, while Ao Nang Pier is the convenient choice for travellers staying along Ao Nang beach or Railay. Both drop you at Tonsai Pier on Phi Phi Don, right at the heart of the island's shops, restaurants and longtail boats to Maya Bay and Bamboo Island.
Fares start at $18 USD one-way and vary by operator and departure time. We recommend booking at least a day ahead during high season (November–April), when morning boats sell out first. All tickets booked through BaliGoat via 12Go include instant e-ticket delivery — just show your phone at the pier counter before boarding.
Schedule & Prices
